17 years of teaching in Higher Education, Professor and Mentor One of my favorite parts of teaching was being a mentor. Tutoring is very similar and the one on one builds a relationship between two people and allows better help for the student. In my nine years of higher education as a student I took classes across the spectrum; humanities, social sciences, lab sciences, math, performing arts, fine arts, and others. Member United Scenic Artists & International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts of the United States, Its Territories and Canada. I worked as an experiential education and outdoor recreation teacher.

I have traveled the world for work and enjoyment. I am an excellent photographer whose work has been published and is found in people's private collections. I enjoy reading, most anything for enjoyment. I enjoy US History and especially the Civil War. A fun fact is that I am a great admirer of the railroad and am a model railroader.
