- While living in Beijing, China, for two years, I tutored English to local Chinese children of various ages (ages 6 to 16). I also have more than 10 years of coaching experience with various schools and student programs (such as the Boys & Girls Club) in soccer, tennis, and basketball. The students that I coached in these sports ranged from the age of 4 years old to 18 years old. - My teaching experience consists of private and group tutoring at the Boys & Girls Club of Honolulu as well as tutoring English at Renmin University in Beijing, China. I also worked at the Chang An Language Center in Beijing, teaching English to students in group and private sessions. - I specialize in teaching Mandarin and Vietnamese. I taught beginners in both of these languages while attending U.H. Manoa as an undergraduate student. - I will do my best to help whoever I am teaching succeed as a student and overcome any challenges or obstacles that he/she is facing.
