M.A. in Counseling Psychology from University of Hawai'i at Hilo in 2013. 3.96 GPA I have been a Mental Health therapist for the past year and a half while simultaneously providing private tutoring to a long-term student (5 years) who moved to another island, so I provided Skype tutor sessions.

I have been tutoring grades K-6 for the past 5 years in the areas of language arts, science, and mathematics. I enjoy it very much and do my best to make it fun so the youth enjoy learning as well! I love reading, swimming, rollerblading, writing, spending time with family, dancing, playing outside, and drawing. I have a lot of interest in learning new things and continue to evolve as a person in this regard. I learn a lot from preparing for a lesson as well as taking the students lead when appropriate. I believe each child is unique and deserves to be heard and nurtured to their full potential. I love tutoring!!
