Proficient at teaching Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access). I am currently a faculty instructor at Remington College and University of Phoenix in Honolulu. Earned my MBA from Chaminade University (GPA 3.9), where I participated in the Hogan Entrepreneurs Program and also completed a two-week business study tour in China. I also have a BBA from University of Hawaii at West Oahu and AA in Liberal Arts from Honolulu Community College, where I served as student body president as well as vice president of Phi Theta Kappa.
Experience
I have over four years of small-classroom teaching and one-on-one tutoring experience at the college level. I am a retired certified professional resume writer, and can teach you how to write your own winning resume (or I can write it for you). In addition to that, I have over 15 years of corporate management experience. Positions held include general manager, sales and finance manager, and owner of my own successful service enterprise (consisting of three storefronts). My underlying emotional intelligence / leadership quality is that of "empathy" -- I connect well with students of all backgrounds and personalities. This, in turn, enables me to create a motivated environment that emphasizes the "fun" in learning!
