Education
I am a high School graduate, I have no college degrees yet but am on my way to getting one, I have one year of college experience with an art major which I am still in pursuit of. I study at UH Manoa, I am an Art major. I am currently taking a break for a semester to get some job experience and save up some money to continue my own education in the future.
Experience
I have taken many art classes, and taught a couple myself, I work best one-on-one with studio arts, I want to be a tutor to help others experience the joy of art. My ACT and my SAT scores were average, and so are my AP test scores, although I donʻt really consider tests to be a good way to decide how smart someone is, generally I find that tests do not decide the actual ability of the person. I have been in a couple of art shows/galleries before, although they were not up for long. I have also taught classes at multiple elementary schools, the subjects of those classes being business and economics.

Hobbies
I am easygoing, calm, and practically impossible to irritate. I love to swim, draw, sculpt, read, and do anything art related. I get along well with pretty much anyone, especially kids. I am focused, I stay on-task during projects and meetings. I make jewelry in my spare time, as well as any other art that might be requested of me, I have my own private business which I do this through, "Arte by Laurel". It is a new business, so I donʻt have much up on it currently, only some photos of my own personal work.
