I am a graduate of Tufts University in Massachusetts. While I was there I double majored in Peace and Justice Studies along with Music. I also completed a minor in Latin American Studies. Some may think this is an odd combination, but I would argue these subjects fit together when you really get down to the details. In addition to being a graduate I have also had ample chance to travel, which I am grateful for. I lived in Santiago, Chile as an exchange student. I also worked for a number of months as a music teacher in Trujillo, Peru. It has been eye-opening to meet people from different places, with different cultures and ideas. But no matter where I go I am always happy to come home to Honolulu, Hawaii. I am happy to share this knowledge in my tutoring and look forward to meeting even more people from around the globe. I am an expert at Spanish and am happy to help you study the language, no matter your proficiency. When I am not learning or tutoring you can often find me on the beach, doing yoga, or salsa dancing. I love to keep active and do new things.
