Experience

I am able to tutor in Hawaiian language and teach children enrolled in Hawaiian Immersion programs. I have been formally trained in ceramics, drawing, painting, and the basic mechanics of art theory. Throughout my life, I have enjoyed learning and often became an informal tutor for peers of mine who lagged behind slightly in classes. I am able to see information in simpler, more exciting ways, and I would like to share that perspective with students who are struggling. There's no reason why learning should be difficult or boring!

Hobbies

As a creative individual, I like to write, draw, paint, sing, and practice calligraphy and graphic design. Reading has also been a lifelong passion for me. In the future, I intend to attend law school, but I have also aspired to be an author since I was a young girl. When I have a chance to get into the water, I enjoy stand-up paddling, canoe paddling (6-man, 2-man, and 1-man), and body boarding.
