Since taking early retirement in 2010, I have worked as a tutor, all grades, including college level. Hobbies

Although my teaching experience as a full time teacher was primarily to young adults, since retiring I've worked with children from the ages of 5 to 17. Most children respond well to the approach I take because I go out of my way to make learning a fun experience. Children lacking confidence and self-esteem usually show a marked improvement in just a few weeks when they realize that they can actually do the schoolwork that previously gave them difficulty.
