Hobbies

I am a student of history. My excitement for any of the many disciplines within the context of history is contagious. I boast an ability to relate history to people in a way that is comprehensive and interesting. I employ strategies that include reading/literacy, audible learning, visual learning, and practical learning. I stress teaching to the student as opposed to the material. Child first learning is a strategy in where I identify the students retention ability and focus on academic strengths to encourage optimal comprehension. Through my classroom training, applied learning, and self-reflection I am able to employ proven strategies that target successful lesson plans for students.
