I am currently a substitute teacher for various private schools on Oahu. In the past, I have worked with and taught students with disabilities for 4 and a half years. I want to tutor because I am passionate about helping students to achieve their goals. I have worked with students of various backgrounds. I am able to adapt my teaching style towards the individual needs of each child. I often utilize analogies or real life stories in order to aide students in learning concepts. I have taken and excelled at classes such as: visual art, ceramics, sociology, english, social studies, social work, and other humanities classes.
