Education
One of my greatest joys in life is learning, particularly about science. I strive to help students master the material so that they too can find enjoyment in academia and what it has to offer. I am a third year Biological Science major with an emphasis in Cellular and Molecular biology at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
Experience
I work for Cal Poly teaching Supplemental Workshops in Science and Math. During the school year, I facilitate general chemistry workshops. My duties include attending their lecture, creating custom worksheets, and working with a group of students to help them gain a better understanding of the material. Additionally, I offer private tutoring to students who need more help. One of my strengths as tutor is that I remember what struggles or misconceptions when I was first learning the material. I am able to take large amounts of information and break it down in an organized way that is easy to understand. I realize that each student is different and that what works for one person may not work for another. As a tutor, I believe it's my job to find what works best for an individual to transform learning into an enjoyable experience.

Hobbies
I am very personable and easy to talk to. I want to make your tutoring experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Some of my interests include yoga, hiking, and of course, science! I am well traveled and have lived in several different areas throughout my life, which I believe helps me effectively communicate with many different types of people.
